Corsair 520W, power 8800GTX?

Is that the only PSU you have? No 5.25" bay PSU/s? OMG....I didn't realize that this had that kinda power. Two 8800GTX's, WHOA!!

Yeah, the Corsair PSUs are fantastic. For the price they are practically unbeatable and as Kof has proven, the 520 can quite easily pump a healthy double dosage of 8800GTX juice :D

I have one, I had a bug with it though, if it starts bugging out with the 8800GTX, Corsair is getting a phone call. I really think this was a Vista bug but, I have been told a PSU can cause it, too.

look at the amperage of the PSU, the more amps the more it can pump out that maximum wattage to each device. The downside is, that the more amps it pulls the hotter it gets.

Are you sure this will power an OC'ed 8800GTX and OC'ed E6850?

I read a review where an Antec Quattro 850W wouldn't power one, this made me paranoid but, the unit would power 2 2900XT's....

I am using my X1300PRO on it right now, I just ordered my GTX and it should be here tmrw.

Thanks
Yes, it's quite sufficient. Also, where's this review of the Antec failing with a single 8800GTX? Either they got a defective unit, or they didn't plug it in properly :)

Any reason the second card wasn't plugged in? I wouldn't encourage people to power two 8800GTXs with a HX520, as there exists a strong possibility of long term damage.

What is this problem?
