This massive case from Corsair came out recently. Its Corsairs first case that they made and its actually in my opinion really nice. I've been looking at it a lot lately and I really want to get it now. Here's a picture of the case:

Its really flat, basic, box-shaped

The inside is really nice though because of the way that its constructed:

What do you guys think? Nice case or no?

Yeah, I know. It came out like last year or a year and a half ago but i like it because its spacious. :D

I love the rubber guard things they put in there. thats going to be amazing for cable management. The fan is a nice addition, along with that metal thing that seperates the PSU from the rest of the case.

From the looks of it you can change the cpu cooler and bracket without removing the mobo. another plus.

Nice and high off the ground for a bottom mounted PSU with an intake fan.

I would buy it. what does it cost? i hear they are expensive.

They're great for UBER Enthusiasts...

Think multiple SSDs, 3/4 way SLI, multiple watercooling loops, i7-975 at the minimum (if that makes any sense :) ), a WD Velociraptor RAID 0 for backup, the list goes on and on.

Then again, that stuff will be garbage next year lawl.

Nope, any enthusiast would steer the opposite direction of an 800D. There isnt enough airflow in the thing to run a decent watercooling loop(at the top there is three 120mm fans, however, your options there are set those as your only exhaust and be running warm air through the radiator, or intake and running warm air into the case), and due to the separate bay for power supply, the power supply would be the only other exhaust, leaving all the warm case air to go through the power supply. Eg- when running a triple rad, your only exhaust would be a 120mm on the rear of the case and power supply.

I'd give them a B for effort, but in reality it is not a case meant for cooling. It was meant to be run with the corsair H50 by running three intakes at the top and then having the H50 as an exhaust on the rear(ill try to find the article where a corsair representative mentioned that).

At this price point, i wouldnt touch the case, id easily pick up a Lian-Li or mountain mods tower for this price.

Actually a lot of 800D owners have all fans intaking air except for the top 3 fans... so it's from the bottom-up in basic terms.

There are only a single 120mm fan that can really intake air,and that is the rear as the one between the power supply bay and main section of the case almost has to be taking air from the main bay to the power supply bay, as pretty much every power supply fan is an exhaust fan. This in turn means that the user has one of two options if watercooling:

1. Set the rear 120mm fan as intake, and have the three top fans as exhaust pulling warm case air through the radiator.

2. Set the three top fans as intake, pushing warm air from the radiator inside the case, and having the power supply and rear 120mm fan exhaust this air.

Most enthusiasts dont like the 800D if they plan on running any decent cooling.
