Is this a good SSD? Just bought it because my standard hdd is severely lacking as far as load speeds are concerned. Will do Windows 7 with crysis 2 and bf 3 installed. Everything else will be put on a standard hdd. thoughts? How easy is the install and can someone point me to an install guide? Thanks!

That's one of the better ones.
Make sure it has the updated firmware or you can find it here.

There's a guide at the top of this forum. I suggest you read it even if you don't use it.
Take note that with 16GB of memory, Windows default pagefile.sys will get pretty big. I'd definately manage the size and/or move it. With 16GB you could probably set it to no pagfile. Altho you may run across a program at some point that requires it.

-How big are those 2 games together? 25-26 GB's?
& 7 is 15-16 but the os files can/will get bigger.

Yeah its almost already full. This thing is ridiculously fast. went from a 5.3 wei to 7.9. Im cool with it just holding bf3 since that game takes a year to load, all others can go on standard drive. My pc is perfectly stable, should i still do the update anyway?

Not at this point. You'd have to erase it for the update and you might be ok without it.
