Corsair H50 "Comparison": Improper Setup?

i have been looking at the corsair h50 video comparison video:
http://www.viddler.com/explore/TweakTown/videos/12/103.068/
they compared the h50 to the thermalright 120 with a fan. in the video they state that the computer keeps crashing (obviously due to temperature). but they also mention a small detail that i seem to think is very important: about 0:59 the guy says that air is "going in" when pointing to the rear of the case. call me crazy or stupid but i always thought it was good to not have all fans blowing INTO the case... don't you want a nice airflow from front to back? aren't you just trapping hot air in, thus increasing temperatures? wouldn't the temperatures go down if they reversed the back fan, thus ruining their test? or am i just crazy?

the air is blowing in because the radiator is in the back of the case. this will give better cpu temps.

do you mean the radiator of the h50? the part i was talking about was for the thermalright 120.

oh, didnt notice that(they switch the videos very fast, lol) they could just have reverse airflow(cold air comes in from back and hot blows out front)

that's what i was wondering but i was not sure since it would be a very odd setup. i still think something is kooky... why would a good heatsink do so poorly?
