Corsair H80i Temperature Hot

Hey!

My corsair H80i seems to run a little hot. Idle 30 - 40 (nothing wrong with that) but when im playing games like dayz and BF4 it runs 60 - 75C and that is way too much for watercooling. 80+C when im stress testing. What could be wrong? My idle temp seems to be fine

EDIT: Right now my CPU is running 3.8GHz with turbo boost

Do you have sufficient airflow in your case? If it's being fed hot air, it's not going to perform well.
Also, obviously, have you double-checked the mounting and thermalpaste? Did you apply some yourself, or use the pre-applied?

Ok, so a couple of questions:

You have one fan or push pull?
What is ambient temperatures?
What thermal paste have you applied and have you applied it correctly?
Do you have Qfan enabled or disabled?
Do you have the latest motherboard bios?
Are you connecting the pump power to 12V?

Also try to apply new thermal paste. Many times cracked thermal paste is the cause of overheating cpus and gpus.
