Corsair PSU's to choose from....

I just might order a PSU tonight to accompany my P180 that arrived today. I was looking at Corsair, the HX520W or the HX620W, this PSU will run the system below.

OC'ed E6850
8800 Ultra
2x WD SE16 RAID 0
2x Samsung DVD+/-RW

Someone had a good deal on one a while back, was it Chupacabra? Could you bring that deal to this thread, I would greatly appreciate it.:)

I just wanted to comment on how well the Antec P180 is built, I had been screwing with Apevia garbage lately and they are no match. I even have PSU noise dampeners!!! The magnetic door is really nice, comes with three 3-speed 120mm fans, lots of room for HDD's. If you are interested in another case, I suggest this 100%.

I cant say, maybe ceewi will chirp in :P. but i would say the 620w if you can afford it...

Of course i will recommend the ocz 700w GameXtream 4 12v rails wit a total of 72a, for obvious reasons "ehh em"

well i cant say that thing is still in shipping lol.

Hmm.....I don't like OCZ memory, I have just had so much 'fun' with it:rolleyes:. I like Corsair memory, though, lol. Ahh....you got me thinking, stop it:P. Anyone got an opinion on these here?

lol i hear ya, i love corsair memory much better than OCZ...but their psu's have realy good reviews and i think its made by seasonic? FSP?

edit, i got it for $119 with a promo and free shipping...lol, i dont think im helping you decide too much :P

I dont know what to say, i would get the 520w because would the 620 realy be an advantage? i mean i dont think either could sli those cards?....weres ceewi!?!..lol
 
I'm here. Unfortunately I've been very busy recently, and haven't had time to answer so many posts. Yes, the 520W version is quite sufficient for the system specified. FYI, the GameXStream 700W has +12V@50A total, not 72A.

it does? it does! lol, i just got it today....so yeah it has 4 rails at 18a and the sticker says max 70a and max combined current is 50a....so yeah...lol sorry :)

I saw the thermaltake tough power 750 for $125.00 at either fry's.com / mwave.com
