I want to make sure my memory is running correctly because I use an architecture program that actually used 98% at one time of my 4gb stick.

when i built my desktop my friend went into the bios and set the speed to how it "should be" but after two hours of stress or more the entire comp would always freeze. I did the memtest86 thing from a flash drive and somehow that made the timings and speed much different, no errors tho. I tried it again and there were no errors and it set the timing to the usual 9-9-9-24 but the speed is at 666.66 (ironic because im a christian) which is exactly half of what the speed is advertised as.

so I have been using it like this because I haven't had any problems and it has been fine...

should I try and alter the speed or leave it?

thanks!
