Corsair XMS or ValueSelect?

I'm building a gaming system and want to know if I should go with 1Gb of the Corsair XMS Ram or for the same price get 2Gb of the Corsair ValueSelect?

+ it will be more overclockable, run on tighter timings, and prob run cooler (but dont quote me on that one)

go with the xms... i has better timings and has more headroom for overclocking should you wish to do that

For the same price, buy a crapload of XMS and sell it after its not the same price anymore

If you are not gaming is the ValueSelect sufficient?

(General piddling... surfin', working with images... nothing major.)

yes, the ValueSelect is fine, it just doesn't run at the low timings like the XMS, which doesn't make much difference
