CORSAIR XMS3 12GB vs CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6GB ?? both 1600 and DDR3

I was configuring an i7 build and for a long time I thought of getting the Dominator 6gb of ram for ~170.00 ...now I look at some ram again and see the XMS3 12gb kit for ~229.00... I was wondering which would you all recommend? I intend to overclock, but I want it to be very stable and reliable above all...
I am leaning towards teh 12gb kit, what do you all think?

Keep in mind that I want to have it future proof for a while until some good 4gb ddr3 ram comes out at least....
 
im running the xms3 1600 and had it 1680mhz 8.8.8.22 at stock voltage rated 9.9.9.24 very good ram overclocks nice runs stable... i love the XMS Series :D
