Cosmetic questions

I have a couple questions. Mainly cosmetic ones, though.

I was wondering how you rig LEDs in the case, what you use (strips of lights or bars of light), and how it's powered.

And also the digital display on the front. I'm assuming that is the fans RPMs? If I'm wrong correct me. What exactly do I need, how to I power that up, and is it in the CD drive slots?

Any help would be greatly valued.

Thanks!

1. You can find USB, or 4 pin powered LED strips on the web. Then you simply hook it up to your machine...

2. Fan controllers. You hook those up using 4 pin power and your fans and yes they go in the front 5.25" slots. Some use 1, some use 2. Some are fancy, others are not. :)

They sell cold cathode/LED kits, and they're normally powered by a 4-pin molex connector.

I was big into case lighting with my first PC because it was new to me, but my second build was toned down. Just my case fans are a light blue, so as to not be overpowering.

Digital front displays are normally combination info displays and fan controllers. You can plug your case fans into them and manually control the speed (I prefer plugging them into the fan headers on the motherboard). These are also normally powered by 4-pin molex. And they normally fit in 5.25" bays, yes.
