Cost effective GPU for a78m-e35?

Well my current machine is running graphics from the igpu in the a10-6800k which is fine for now but long term isn't a great plan so yeah, any ideas of cost effective gaming gpus that the mobo could run? preferably single slot sized ones as the placement of the mobo due to it being a micro atx mobo in my tower meaning larger ones would likely not fit too well (not sure if the tower is mid or full atx) due to half the back panels being below the board.

I'd prefer something capable of crossfire for future system changes and yes I plan on changing to a larger motherboard at some point so I can sort the graphics set up better (plus I want to get an internal soundcard and such sorted anyway so more space is kinda useful for that).

You can find some cheap 6670 on eBay to crossfire with the igpu depending on your budget. I found my fanless one for like 35.

I'd upgrade the platform and a higher end single card at the same time though if you had lofty performance goals

I'm not planning on buying instantly so the budget is variable, and yeah I do plan on upgrading the mobo around when I got for any actual major gpu.

the main thing is having a secondar gpu that is either a little better than the igpu or that runs crossfire with it so as to smooth out how some games handle.

(namely things like watch_dogs and the witcher 2 which the witcher 2 is steady and playable on bare minimum settings and for some reason watchdogs is smoother for a while but then say 2 or 3 hours in it seems almost like a memory leak came up so it could just be a poorly optimized game)

So something like a 6670 would be one of the better bets?
And I'd probably look for one with a fan to minimize overheat chances.

And I know this is a super stupid question but 3.0 slots can run 2.1 cards correct?

Which kinda 6670s btw seems there are both ddr3 and ddr5 variants with memory from 512MB to 2GB
