I have a HP G61-336NR and i am having some diffuculty with. I replaced the heyboard, and now it just wont start. When I push the power button, the WLAN and power com on, but the screen is black and the NUM LOCK and CAPS LOCK lights just flash.
At first, I thought it may be the ram, but i have tested both of the Ram cards in my Lenovo, and both work. and since my Lenovo is a PATA hdd, i cant test the HDD on it.
Could this be a HDD failure, or maybe a GPU failure??

since you replaced your keyboard has all the connectors been put back correctly.
I repaired a laptop the other day which did the same thing and it turned out I had to rotate the ram sticks to get it to work plus I made sure all the connectors for the other components were seated properly.

I have ensured that the ram is seated. Also, the keyboard is seated properly, and no other connections were touched.

Still try and swap your ram sticks to see if it makes a difference and check your key board connection as it does not take much to have problems.
Like I said in my previous post I had to recheck my connections before I got it to work; other than this I do not have any more recommendations for you.
