im new to this, i put everything together as instructed and i couldnt wait to turn it on..i booted it up n nothing happened..and i mean nothing..i rechecked my connections n everything looked good..at first i thot it was the psu but a green led light on the mobo flashed ONCE..im not sure how many times its suppose to flash..i then concluded it mite b a mobo problem which sucks because i didnt buy a warranty :-/....ANY help please

on the power supply there should be a plug looking like this looking directly down the plugs

OO
OO

make sure this is plugged in, i thought it was a mb prob, but it just needed this plug. its a 4 pin plug

no the mother board is not getting enough power, thats the reason for the extra plug

think about it. a ferrari is not gonna run with a v12 engine is it, no its gonna need more power

have you got the lead like this on your power supply,

if yes) Plug it into the motherboard (dont worry its the only one like this on the board.)

If no) :( New Power Supply:(

Before going out and spending another wad of cash for a new PSU, See if you can test all the parts in a friends rig, or go to a computer store and see if you can test some of there parts in your rig. Its better to test and see that the PSU is broken before buying a new PSU only to find out it was working perfectly and the mobo was the problem.

could the mobo b damaged in anyway?..if it was how..u know how can i tell it was because that makes sense..my dads an electrician he tested it n the psu seemed to have no electricity whatsoever..i just hope its not the mobo..i plugged everything in correctly and everything i just think the psu is just dead but wut could b wrong with the mobo? is there anyway to find out
