Could this be a Virus?

so the past 2 days my computer has been taking a long time to turn on! i mean like 20mins.

then once it finally loads up all i get is my desktop background. and there are times when i will just be running one app and try and run another app and it says that i have insufficent resourses to open the app or something similar to that.

im going to run a HJL to make sure but i scan regualry and dont see what the problem could be.

i'll keep ya's posted! :confused:
 
do a virus scan if you think it is a virus, otherwise try ad-awareSE or numerous other programs, also if you are using XP d/l abexo free registry cleaner and clean that out...

May speed things up..

yeah the strange thing is it had the explorer.exe processor running. anyways re-installed XP so its all good! thanks anyway man! :)
 
I appreciate all is well again but, in case anyone is interested, the HJT log showed evidence of one Trojan downloader, Win32.VB.pc, and it shows TWO antivirus programs running. AVG and AntiVir.

Running two AV apps simultaneously could easily result in system conflicts.

Only have ONE AV and ONE F/W running at any one time.

Also there is no evidence of any java on this system. It will be needed for many websites to work correctly.
