for the past few weeks now ive been having problems such as...

overheating
a wurring noise only on start up
and not enough money but thats not computer related. lol

so i think i have came to the conculsion that my HD is the cause. it only wurrs on start wurr's on the start up and the my temps are sky high. so what im asking is could this be my OS HD?

do you know what i mean or do you need more info? let me know! thanks! :D

i think its my HD's because, it only makes the wurring noise on start up and when my computer loads up really wurrs and if i leave it and i dont log in and its just at the beginning with my account name, then as soon as i log in a couple of seconds later it is fine. and my HD spec is 2 sata's 80gb 160gb 7200rpm, thats all i know of that and my HD temps used to be in the 30's now they are always in the 40's, could this be because its hot in the uk or should my cooling fans be cooling it?

is that enough? just say if you need anything more! thanks guys!!!

well my HDD is always above 40 in the summer
and i don't notice any problems
you should start worrying about the HDD when it goes above 50

i use speedfan and it says that my Hdd is at like 48 degrees. and it sometimes hit 50 even 52, its never been like this before, is there anything else that i can use to check the CPU fan and NB?

thanks!!! :D
