Hello. I recently bought a new Power supply and hooked it up to my mobo, and there was a problem. When i pressed the power button ( on the front side of the computer ) the power would go on for about 1 second, and then shut off. Then when i pressed the power button again it didn't do anything. So i switched Power supply cords, and it ended up doing the same thing. Does this mean theres' something wrong with the power supply, or the mobo connections? Its a new power supply so i couldn't possibly think that its the power supply, but i dont know. thank you!:D

That happened to me and my friend, for my friend it was his power supply that was damgaged, but for me it was the motherboard. It can really only be 1 of 2 things that would cause that, a faulty motherboard or power supply. It could be that you recieved a bad power supply.
