ive been playing cs for 2 years now and i lan and bla bla... anyway i have a bad computer and whenever im playing cs now it restarts my computer or freezes and i have to reconnect. it happens every 4 rounds or so. my computer is hot so i think it might be the fans and the temperature. but also it could be the power supply cuz it turns of sometimes and i have a geforce 6800 with a 350 watt power supply 12A @ 12V. is this happeneing to anyone or know how to help me please help! thanks

what kind of computer are you playing on?

i know when i used to play on a laptop, it would power off by itself for the same reason, because one of the fans inside wasn't working (and it was a laptop, which is pretty stupid to play on as it is).

So my guess from experiance is you are correct, your computer is overheating... but it could be something totally different.

I suggest getting a better psu. If you don't have a good psu, you could possibly hurt your other components. Read PSU 101.

Trouble playing cs 1.6?
What computer you got? A commodore?

12A is not enough to sustain a stable 12V rail you need at least 20A and with that big graphics card in there you should be looking at more.
