Hi, was just looking through the bios options and found unlock cpu which is set to disable and turbo cpb which is also set to disable, is it wise to enable them

The unlock cpu, usually means to unlock hidden or disabled cores.

It can be good or bad, if it`s a core that`s just been hidden it can be a great free boost say paying for a dual core and getting a tri core, but if it is a 3 core that has been taken down to a 2 core because of a faulty core.

You can obviously have problems if you enable a faulty core.

You do not have any extra cores on a 1090T. The option is there for other CPUs that can have cores unlock.

thanks, underneath it lists cores 1-5 but not 6, does this mean anything, also any idea what the turbo cpb is?

oh hold on, I just realised i'm an idiot, the cores are labelled 0-5 with 0 being not highlighted

Turbo CPB has nothing to do with unlocking cores. Really nothing that has turbo on it does. You have a six core, there are no more cores to unlock.
