Ok so i am getting a dell xps m1710 laptop(please no booing) and was just wondering if anyone knows anything about scratch resistant covers customizable for them? i read something that had a link to a cool site with exactly what im looking for but i cannot find this website or forum i was in anymore. Once again please no booing...i know how much dell sux but i wanted this computer. Thankz.

I have to admit they look awesome. By cover do you mean like a screen protector or something like a slip cover for the screen and casing(the red or black part behind the screen)?

are you looking for something like iPod sleeve to prevent bumps and scratches? or you are looking for something more like this:

im looking for something that covers the outside part of the casing. But does not cover the lights. The ones i saw were something i think made out of plastic that sumhow clicked on.

Oh I dont know where to find that, You could probobly get a clear sticker to do that

I was a fan until my laptop started blue screening.

If you get a good service plan they will even come to your house. I even had an IBM Think Pad that Blue-Screened. Every company has had at least one computer that blue screened (except maybe Apple ).

i got the four year plan cus with a discount i recieved its only 100 more than no plan at all

I upgraded the length of basic support, nothing bad to say about it, great value, and replacing my laptop.
