cpu ? about thermal past

i am going to install a new cpu today and i was wondering how long i should wait to turn the computer on after i add the past?

Well, it doesnt really matter how long you turn it on for. Depending on what paste it is though it has a setup time. For arctic silver the setup time is ~300hrs.

No, it just will take ~300hrs or so until it reaches the lowest temperatures you will get, it doesnt matter that much because even after the thermal paste sets up temps are only ~1-2c lower.

I never wait and fire my builds up right away. The latest 2 builds run ~25C.

as soon as your finished you can start it up i've never waited after apply the thermal paste
