cpu and board upgrade!!

well ive done alot to my pc up to now and its time for another 2 lol

this is what i have

amd 6000+ x2----------------upgrade wanted
asus m2n-e sli------------------upgrade wanted
4x1gig corsair xms2 800mhz (4gig total matching pairs)
GeForce 7950 GT
500gig maxtor 32mb cache 7200rpm sata
160gig samsung 16mb cache 7200rpm sata
cooler master external encloser-80gig western digital 7200rpm
thermaltake tr2 550 watt psu
thermaltake liquid cooling with cpu block upgrade
zalman northbridge water block
thermaltake aqua temp/liquid level display
lg 16X dvd dual layer dvd rw ide
antec 900
vista ultimate 32bit-------------------upgrading to 64bit

i am after a new cpu and motherboard that will allow all of the above...

i would pay upto £400 for both together...

suggestions please!!!!

I'm not sure which site is the best in the UK, but I've heard ebuyer is good.

Motherboards: Gigabyte X38 or the Striker II 780i.

Get the 780i if you want the ability to run SLi.

Processors: Q6600 or the E8400 if you can find one in the UK.
