Hi, im not all to knowledgable when it come to computers so it may be a little fustrating of what i ask but if you could help it would be greatly apricated. I currently dont have the funds for a new computers, and as for specs its System Type X86-based PC

Available Virtual Memory 1.60 GB
Im not even sure if thats correct information needed or not but thats all I got from the system information program inside the window accessory menu.
While i know it may be better for me to just get a new computer but as of this moment im unable to, therefore while it may be a waste of money i want to push my computer as far as i can. I was wondering if there was anyway i can keep the momeny i have the

and replace just my motherboard and cpu, the power unit as well if it's needed for the new cpu&motherboard. I know its a long shot and they probably dont sell old products that'll be comatiable with the outdated ram but if its possible i would like to know. im not looking for a big change just a little. something that'll let me atleast play mkv files without it lagging. If i can just replace the cpu that'll even be better. As for my budget, well somewhere around 200-300 usd. If anyone knows anyway i can make my computer last a little bit longer till i can afford an actually computer it would mean a great deal to me. Thanks so much, will be waiting for a reply.

The Memory is Pc133, that would make finding a new motherboard and using the ram very hard.

You could upgrade the CPU with a 2nd hand with a better clock speed. But this bord can only support up to 800MHz.

More ram as it can take upto 1.5gig of ram stick a 1gb in there or 2x512mb

What do you normaly use your computer for?

Nothing much, the most i do is maybe watch streaming videos, listen to music, print and scan. and mkv, mp4, avi etc files like animes and such. Dont play games so graphics arnt much of a priority for me.

Maby just upgrade the ram could be the only upgrade left on that motherboard.

On my old system, I went from 512 to 1024 and the diffrence was amazing.

i have a 128, 256 and 516 ram, all three slots are filled. i could replace my ram but is it not possible to find parts to replace the motherboard and cpu?

Finding a computer mobo that supports Pc133 would be hard. The CPU upgrade would only go up to 800MHz. That is not much off what you have at the moment.

Buy a 1gb or 2x512 sticks and take the 128 and 256 out. This will give you the max out of this board.
