CPU and video card cooling

I noticed my CPU is running a little bit hotter then normal (36C at idle) not overclocked or anything. Normal idle is 30C. I think the stock heatsink is not working too well anymore... it has no dust or anything on it either. However, I noticed some fins are bent where the fan assembly is. Record low temp I managed to get was 23C on the stock heatsink so I never thought of replacing it.

Anyway, i was thinking of getting a CNPS9500LED heatsink for the CPU. According to reviews, it seems to be very good. Anyone tried it? Need to have a cooler cpu if I want to overclock it to 2.2ghz in the future.

Also was thinking of getting VF700-CU LED VGA Cooler for my video card. Looks like the stock heatsinks seem to be quite awful for video cards. Unfortionatly, my video card does not seem to have a temp monitor, so I don't know what it's running at.

Anyone tried these and know that there good? or have other suggestions?

First, going from 2.0 to 2.2 isnt that much of a jump. I got mine from 2.0 to 2.5Ghz on stock cooling, and i got it to 2.7Ghz but i didnt want to keep the voltage at 1.55v.

Point is, those temps are fine. Mine runs at 26C idle and 33C load.

Nothing, but I'd rather have the original temps that I had before, especially for overclocking. Plus, don't know why it's going up instead of staying at 30C. Room temp is no different and all fans are working fine. Just wondering if it will continue to rise. Maybe the arctic silver is old... however, I only built this PC in august. Can't see it getting old that quick!

Edit: Well, i never overclocked before, so I don't want to jump to some huge speed just yet. Still need to do lots of research on it. Not sure if my ram or other hardware would handle it.

Get the CNPS9500 if you have the money. I bought the 9500 because my idle temp was 46°C and needed it lower, I now idle at 36°C(33° if my room is cold). Honestly, I don't think you need anything like the 9500 for your CPU because those temps are fine, if anything, try going for the CNPS7000B. The 7000B is a mix of aluminum and copper, it has an LED fan and it's easy to install. I think price is only about $40 US at most.

As for the VGA cooler, I use this...

It's cheap and it keeps my 9800 pro cool, I think. I can't tell what my video card temps are cause my 9800 pro doesn't like telling me what the temps are.

That's too cold to worry. I'd worry once your full load temp goes above 65-70*C. My idle right now is around 30C. That's 86*F, which is a bit above room temp. It gets hotter than that outside during the summer.
