CPU bottleneck?

I'm looking at game specs on Steam and they all seem to say that the Athlon II X4 is the minimum for recommended performance..

I'm kinda at my max budget with my parents wanting me to cover just over half it. I'm 17 and my main source of income was lawn mowing this summer.

$290 is what I have. $500 is about the max. I've got RAM, OS, and Storage covered.

First budget build I'm doing for myself. Threw this list together in about 25 mins. I'm not too worried about longevity because I've got a full time job planned for next summer. (Plus graduation money!)

An Intel build

Will not play stuff like bf4 maxed out, but maybe on low/medium, also you can add any case you like. Ciscos build is a good and route, but remember to add ram, and a hard drive. I myself dontthink the 200r is a good budget case, even though I have it. It picks up fingerprints easy, front looks weird to me, not enough fan intake on front, no dual front fans. I would recommend the NZXT h340, or source 210 elite

for that budget it may be worth it looking for a second hand GPU and get cpu etc new. That way you can get a much better gpu for the money and aslong as its been well looked after it will still last as long, i would stick with an AMD cpu and AMD gpu as you will get better value that way on your budget.

see if you can get an AMD fx 8320 to fit into your budget too.
