CPU Comparison...

I'm sort of confused with the clock speeds between the AMD CPUs. If a CPU is:
Athlon64 4000+ (2.4GHz 2GHzHTSB San Diego) Soc 939 How can i work out what the actual clock speed is. In Intel CPUs i think that it's much simpler because it tells you straight off. (Eg. 3.2Ghz etc.)

Is anyone able to explain to me how the clock speed comparisons work between the two (Intel & AMD)

They don't really compare. Technically the 'actual' clock speed of an Athlon 64 4000+ is 2.4GHz

that doesn;t work either under intels relatively new naming convension, e.g tell me the clock speed of the intel p4 650
