Hey all. Curious what your guy's thoughts were on CPU coolers and which route I should go to eventually replace the Wraith I'm running on my 1700 at the moment. I've only used CM 212's and not too savvy with different coolers available.
I had a Corsair H100 that died not too long ago and have been using the stock Wraith since. It works but doesn't handle overclocks too well. Wanting to get something that will let me overclock but not breaking the bank and look good with the rest of my setup. The cooler has to have some white in it, preferably most of it, which limits my choices somewhat.
I am aware that Ryzen has a pretty hard overclock limit around 4.0GHz so don't know how much benefit I'd see spending more on a better cooler.
I'm personally leaning towards getting another 240mm AIO Loop like this DeepCool Captain 240 EX White.

I've also considered the 120mm variant of it as well but unsure if those are worthwhile compared to an air cooler. If cooling performance is somewhat comparable I might go this route.
Not opposed to air cooling but would like to stick to water due to looks and availability of white coolers. This one did catch my eye though. What kind of performance difference would I see between an air cooler like this and a 120mm AIO?
