Hello, I was curious what would be the best aftermarket cooler to throw into my Thermaltake Spedo Advanced case and it has to fit into the damn thing =D

My specs will be..
Q9550 - Quad
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R
2x150GIG Raptors
Corsair CMPSU-750TX
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260
Corsair Dominator ram

Im sure you only needed to know the CPU and case but oh well!

Any help will be appreciated =]

Lovely:

That HS only has 6 heat pipes, the TRUE extreme has 12. It really does matter especially if extreme overclocking is in order. There is a reason the TRUE is more expensive, as with anything you get what you pay for :)

To the OP, if you intend to keep the 9650 stock, one of the lower end heat sinks will be ok, but you wont see great temps. If you intend to overclock at all, I would suggust a good heatsink such as the TRUE.

The V10 is nice but its a bit pricey. Over heres its $250! It may be a good CPU cooler but the performance to price ratio doesn't quite work out...

That HDT looked nice, cheap too... I'll search up the specs on it later once I get the chance. I wonder if it will fit in my case though... Apparently some people had problems.

ok, but for a third of that price you can get the exact same performance:

Actually the S1283 works within 1-2c of the TRUE, and the Xigmatek has 3 heatpipes while the TRUE has 6, they are just double ended heatpipes... I would also highly recommend the S1283, but its not quite 1/3rd the price, more like 1/2 as that is nz not usd:P
