Cpu Cooler

Is there a specific reason you've chosen that cooler? Have you looked into zalman cpu coolers they are supposed to work very well?

Zalman are overrated. too many ppl buy it for the look. The rosewill does da same performance for less money. And also the Rosewill fan looks better and does the job. Ive read a lot of reviews on it. So what do you think. would the rosewill cooler fit in my antec 900 case??

CASE:
Dimensions 19.4'' x 8.1'' x 18.4'' (L x W x H)

CPU COOLER
Heatsink Dimensions 101.7 x 93.6 x 67.8mm

8.1" = 205.74mm

So I would assume that the (205.74 - 101.7 =) 104.04 is not taken up by the plastic of the case (~15mm on either side?) plus the mobo and cpu depth (~30mm?)... so I would go with yes it will fit but I'm just going by the numbers but on estimates you'd have 44.04mm of clearance.

Wow, U good. I appreciate your help. thanks a lot.

Hey, I having trouble finding out if the fan will fit in my MSI P6N Platnium Motheerboard. I heard the Rosewill RCX-Z3 was huge and my board has heatpipes around the Socket and I also have a fan on my northbridge. Does anyone have the same mobo as me or can tell me if it would fit or not. thanks

Most people around here aren't buying a Rosewill CPU cooler ;). If your motherboard has a heatpipe cooling system, you could run into some issues. The best way to check would be to go to a local computer store, if you have any good ones around (most places don't). The only other way would be to check on Rosewill's site and see if they have a clearance chart and then measure on your motherboard.
