Cpu Cooling

I have just purchased a Zalman CNPS7700-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler and was wondering if it would be advisable to also buy a vga cooler as well or if the capabilitys of the zalman are good enough to do this by itself.

Are you doing intense stuff on your vga card? or overclocking?

The large 120mm fan provides air flow over a large area, but your video card still needs it own cooler. Zalman makes great vga coolers should you not be happy with the one you currently have.

Actually it [for the most part] doesnt. The main heat source of the video card is on the far side of the card ... which is opposite the side any air from the HSF would ever get to (not that the air would be either effective nor cool). If you look at the picture Tweaker posted, that applies only when you have such a heatpipe+doublesink setup (although the size of the arrows is incredibly misleading of any degree of airflow)

To say the least, but I bet they sell alot of coolers with that marketing.
