Hi, i have recently installed a little widget on my desktop that monitors my memory and cpu usage. I feel that with my specs my computer should be faster, but i have noticed that when the computer is working hard, that on the cpu readings core 1 hits 100% quite frequently yet the other 3 cores seem to be doing very little. Is this normal? Thanks

Well the programs used and the processor would be nice to know.
Probably just a single threaded app (only able to us one core) is working hard.
If it seems slower than it should be, make sure your drives have been defagged and error checked, clean up the disks of clutter (unused programs and such just wasting space)
