cpu fan advice

hi all
just got the Q9550 and want to know if this is the correct and good fan for cpu

Zalman CNPS9700-LED, CPU Cooler, (Copper) 2-Ball bearing, Multi Socket, Ultra Quiet 110mm Fan with blue LED, 2 Modes operation:Silent and Low Noise

i have a GA-EP35-DS3P moherboard
and antac 900 case

would this fan be good

I love my Artic Freezer 7 keeps my CPU at nice and cool.

It depends on if you want to do some serious overclocking.

But to your question, yes that is a very good cooler and it will fit aslong as long it states LGA775.
 
I recently got a system built with the Q9550 and had this fan installed. I find it a little noisy, but then I didn't know what to expect.

It might just be that I have never had a CPU cooler fan before. Or it could be turbulense from the fan on the NB of the mobo (780i).

Whatever, it is acceptable I think.
