cpu fan for X2 3800+

Hey, can i currently have a 939 sempron with the original cpu fan, is it enough to cool a X2 3800+??? (also socket 939)

What temperature is it running at now? There may be now point in buying an after market fan if the temps are Ok now.
 
if you buy the X2 3800+ retail, it should come with the stock cooler in the box... if you are buying it OEM, thats a different story all together...
 
It all really depends on what your temperature is at the moment and if you're OC'ing. We don't know any of this, so we can't really answer yout question.

Some more information would be nice.
 
Well, i have some answers. Im not going to OC and im buying an OEM cpu, and avout the temp, i dont know my cpu's temperature, is there a program to do this?

Your telling him to use Intel TAT on a Athlon 64 System? Plus no a OEM does not come with a HSF, that was the point of the thread, he wanted to know if he could use the one from his Sempron!
