When I boot up my pc it beeps like crazy and tells me that the cpu fan isnt working when I can see that it perfectly is.. It asks me if I want to continue y/n? I press y and it boots up and acts fine.. Anyone have an Idea of how to get rid of the crazy beeping at the beginning instead of leaving it on all the time?

Go into BIOS and disable the warning. It should be easily identifiable by its name. However, it is actually does stop working, you won;t know until your computer stops working. In other words download something to monitor temps if you disable it.

?

What type of cooler and mobo do you have? I have an Asus p5be and a Zerotherm copper fan/heatsink and my mobo did the same thing once.

It is usually that the CPU fan is going slow enough that the motherboard thinks it failed. I always disable it, but keep the feature to shut down when it gets over a certain temperature.

Are you going by visual identification that the fan is working perfectly fine? May I suggest checking your fan speed with SpeedFan, it's a free download.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that the fan isn't starting to fail. I had the same exact problem but then the fan started whining and when it finally crapped out the computer wouldn't start at all. Now I check my fan speed with speed fan every now and then. It also allows you to adjust fan speed and monitors CPU, ambient, HD, and graphics card temp. :)
