My case fans work fine. but my CPU fan should be automatically controled by the temp. But it stays at 4400 all the time unless I open my fan control program that came with my mobo (see mobo in sig) and click the auto button. the program is called T-utility fan control and I like it..but I only use it when im gaming. my CPU stayes cool at 35 idel - 45 under hard load.. so whenever i close the program even with auto on it like by passes it and crank it up.. its really anoying at night. is there anything I can do about this?

Just used the search button.. :

Enable C&Q In the BIOS

..... That will effect my overclocking ability tho. is there any other way arround it?'
Thanks

I noticed that newer Asus motherboards have really improved on fan speed control in their BIOS. It was a very much needed improvement. I hope they don't take a nap now.

ok.. I went into bios. under PC Health it had a whole secton on fan control. I had it set to fan control as "always on".. changed it to smart fan conrtol and set fan on @ 30, fan off at 20 and max fan at 45. I kept K8 Cool'n'quiet on and now my computer is REALLY REALLY quiet unless im beating on it with temps only a few degrees higher than before. SWEET
