CPU fan

Hello I'm new to these forums and I don't really know very much about computers so please bare with me. I have a micro velocity edge 2250 desktop computer from about 3 years ago. The cpu fan makes a lot of noise and just started to randomly start and stop. The cpu fan that is currently in the computer is an ASUS which isn't made anymore.

I measured the fan and it's 60 mm and the heatsink is 80 mm. Can I just replace the fan and if so what size or brand should I get? How easy is it to actually take off the old one and put on the new one?

ya sure you can replace the fan, just look for right fan with 4 pin CPU connector.

although i'll advice on changing the entier heatsink will run the PC much cooler, of course it depends how much space you've above CPU and get right heatsink according the hight.
