cpu heatsink and fan suggestion.

i have a pentium 4 3.0 HT presscott and the tempurature is around 70c when its soposed to be in the 40's or low 50's. does anyone have suggestions to witch heatsink and fans are the best for cooling and noise.

You can get a look at several different products here. I am just using this site as a basis of their wide variety. But of course shop around for they are not the cheapest. http://www.coolerguys.com/ But, supposedly this is what they do, hence the name. You have to look at what your casing with hold. Hope this helps.

No no... it's SUPPSOED to be in the 60-70 range. Prescotts are hot. Of course this doesnt mean its GOOD that its that high though -- P4Es are not like their P4C cousins which are SUPPOSED to be in the 30-40 range
