i want better cooling for my cpu( see main in sig) cause i have stock fan. will arctic cooling freezer 64 pro drop it a couple degrees?

ok i got the heatsink and tried it, but the fan speed only goes to about 300rpm, then stops. is it because my psu doesnt have enough watts?

The Freezer 64 uses a pwm fan, what's your CPU temperature?

Go into your bios and disable "Smartfan" control, or set cpu fan speed to 100%, will run the cpu fan at 100% vs throttling fan speed.

it got to 61 with the freezer 64 and the fan still didnt start

ok it works now thanks, not quite as good as i thought, but i did have to remove a case fan, so that makes a difference.
