I have been looking at Intel. All that I was wondering what would the difference be between an i5 3.0GHz and an i3 3.4GHz. My first thought was the i5 would be better but i am not sure.

Which two are you referring too. A i3 is a dual core and a i5 is a quad core.

What does yes mean? Intel, I would go with something like a 3570K or even a 2500K. Anything under that I would just go with a AMD FX 8320 or FX 6300.

The i5 would be faster than the i3 if you're looking at say a 3570K/2500K against a 3220/2120.
