CPU/MOBO/RAM Kit

This will be my first time using AMD, but I am looking for a Quad Core AMD Processor, Mobo, and 4 Gigs of Ram. The Mobo doesn't need to be anything fancy, it won't have a dedicated GPU.

I'm not sure on a budget, since I don't know how much buys what, I guess lets go with the best with the lowest price, and range from there.


This will be for a LAN Gaming server BTW.

Well wouldn't AMD be better for server hosting?


Wouldn't it also be cheaper? I still have to purchase a few gigabit switches.

That build looks good, I take it any kind of PSU will work? And I need a certain type of case to fit that mobo?

I may want to look for another combo, or get individual, because I don't need an SLI mobo for a server.



Once again, this is for a LAN Gaming server.
