So its kinda in a cross section, I want to get a new cpu, already got some advice on good cpu's but I don't know if they'll go with my Mobo.
The cpu's are AM3 Sockets and i read that they will go in my am2/am2+ mobo? my motherboard is Foxconn A7VMX-S and I'm wanting to get either

or
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-280-AM&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=1943
Will the Foxconn A7VMX-S motherboard be automatically compatible with those cpu's?
I already tried to download the latest update for the bios that stated AM3 compatibility and it caused an error telling me I have a wrong vista bit version.
