I just bought a barton 2500 and have it running on a nforce2 board, you all know of course 2500 is 1.83ghz but for some reason mine is only running at 1.1 which is the same exact thing as my cheap celeron i have in my working computer is this my fault or do i have to change the clock switches on teh board so that it equals 1.8, its set on defualt(auto) right now

ok will do theres still problems with the whole computer at the moment but ill try what you said, thanks

guess it would help if i said that, thought i said it earlier for some reason sorry. My mother board is a GIGABYTE "GA-7N400 Pro2 Rev 2" nForce2 Ultra 400, there are little switches on the motherboard that change the multiplier how do i change the core clock speed, dont know how to do that

no theres not its wierd, my friend has a nforce pro1 and has all the options in bios under power management but the pro2 doesnt seem to have.
