Cpu on this MB help

Ok i got the idea of processors but i pick one out and people say it sucks or slow. I just want one just for getting the computer going and all that im not a BIG GAMER or anything i play 1-2 but thats it.

i need it to come with the CPU fan 2 . Im looking to spend like 40-70$ for CPU and im getting ram with it . I only have 90$ left for my X-mas list so yeah. Thanks.

If you are buying a new board and cpu why an older P4 board? P4s run hot as a rule where you might even prefer a 3rd party cooler just to see temps down. The prices on both Core 2 Duos for an Intel board or AMD's dual core models will ring circles around the single cored P4 models as far as work loads and other things besides gaming.

Prices have also fallen sharply on faster DDR2 memory with DDR3 now out.
