CPU Overheating

I just got done building a mini ITX computer for my wife. When the computer isn't doing anything the CPU is about 50 degrees C. We loaded Battlefield 3 on low settings and it shot up to 96 C very fast. The fan in the front and side is the only spot that I can mount fans. It is a Cooler Master Elite 130 case and a i5-4670 CPU. Not sure what to do to keep temp down when gaming. The GPU temp didn't really move at all when playing a game.

Is the HSF installed properly? All the holding pins locked in place? If so, your option is to get an aftermarket HSF with larger area/better cooling capability.

Fixed it. The problem was the fan on the CPU heatsink was binding. There isn't enough room in that case for anything bigger than the stock cooler. Luckily I had the stock one that I didn't use from my other computer so I put it on there and it is running fine now.

Make sure you replace the thermal paste properly when you did this.
