CPU problems

i got 2 80mm fans in my computer and the fan and heatsink that the 3.0ghz p4 proccesor came with. the case runs around 100 degrees farenheit and then you got the processor runnin at about 155 degrees average. im thinking that theres not enough cold air curculation. tell me if you think 2 80 mm in the front blowing air into the case, 1 on the side blowing into the case, and 1 in the back blowing air out and possibly a 5.25 bay fan off tigerdirect saying that will drop the case as much as 30 degrees celcius. tell me what you think. just tell me what way to set up the 80 mm fans or what i should do. PLEASE HELP ASAP

Assuming that the fan on the side of the case is near the CPU, I'd have it blowing out. Basically, two in the front blowing in and the other two as your exhaust. Also, 155F is too high. Think about getting a better HSF for your CPU. As for the fan you mentioned from tigerdirect... there's no way a 5.25" bay cooler could lower your case temp by 30C. Your case temp should be similar to your room temp.

With my system the case's side fan was directly over my CPU fan, and was blowing out (I got the case from a friend). I was having some worrying heat issues until I realized; the side fan was so close to the CPU fan that it was robbing it of air, and keeping the warm air inside the case. My solution; flip the fan. If your side fan is directly above your CPU (and pretty close, maybe 2/4 cm away), this may help lower overall temperatures.
