CPU & Ram Question

I have an Intel 3.2 Pentium processor and 2 gigs of RAM. I work on music and have a program called Cubase. Inside of this program are things called VSTs that take up a lot of my CPU's resources. When I run too many of them, my CPU is at 100%.

Now here's my (noob-esque) question: If I get two more gigs of RAM, will it help to lower my CPU level at all?

i dont think so...and if youre running Windows XP, your system only supports 3.5 gigs of ram.

not really. If this application is so cpu hungry you may consider upgrading the cpu (what model is it right now (and what socket) if you dont know then have a look with cpu-z http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

well im pretty sure the best cpu you can get for a socket 478 is a 3.4 ghz pentium 4. so the upgrade wouldnt be worth it.

better to get a socket 775 motherboard and a cheap core2duo or somthing.
