CPU Temp of Pentium IV 3.06Ghz?

My current CPU temp is 52 is that any good? I started to delete some of my files which leaves me 13Gbytes of free space left out of 40Gbytes. My desktop has been a year and half. Should I add a new Hardrive to back up my files like 180Gbytes?

Deleting stuff won't help your CPU temps, those temp aren't dangerously high but they could definitely be better. I would clean out the CPU heatsink & case, dust usually causes the temps to go up. Also, how hot is it in there (ambient temps)? If the amibent temps are high, your CPU temps ain't going to get better unless you move your computer to an air-conditioned room.

I see no wonder when I first bought it the CPU temp was just above 50 then went down at 42 in a day or two. Thanks dude for your input.
