Do you mean something like this? Your image isn't working...
Fact is, the FX6300 was always a bit hot... but 49oC isn't an issue... a little high.
But its difficult to understand how high unless we know the ambient (room) temperature. Computer temperatures are always discussed as nominal vs ambient. For example, my CPU is currently 40oC with ambient 21oC = delta T of 19oC. Thats not too bad.
Questions:
What is the load temperatures? That is what is important really.
To test, you can download and run
Prime95 on a blended test (as shown in image below) and let us know. Be careful,
familiarise yourself with the Stop Workers selection and exit the program completely (go to the System Tray and check - right click and exit) - if the CPU is getting too hot (over 80oC). Don't worry too much the CPU will protect itself but you will know straight away as the temps will rise rapidy.
If you run this and it doesn't go over say 65oC, i wouldn't worry too much.
If however, it
goes over 75oC,
or you don't like running it at or above 65oC, the first thing i'd try is
replacing the thermal paste with
Arctic Silver 5.
Either way, you want to buy the Arctic Silver 5, id replace it anyway. Just make sure you don't put too much, or too little on, be careful to clean the CPU with
isopropyl alcohol. This is essentially rubbing alcohol (may be cheaper from your pharmacy/drug store) which cleans all the crap off - worth doing properly.
By doing so, (in some cases) you can drop the CPU temps by up to 10oC.
If all of this doesn't work (you'll want the AS5 and alcohol either way), then look at either getting a new air cooler, or an all in one water cooler. The guys here will advise (i run custom water cooling and its been a long time since I've looked at these products) you on this once you test the and replace the thermal paste.
