Cpu temperature and load increases

when i connect to the internet and downloading sumthing or just browsing my cpu core temperature rises to abt 70-80 C and cpu load becomes 100%.........i use AIDA64 to monitor my cpu performance.........this problem has started since in installed my new gpu, its a zotac nvidia 9800gt.......my cpu is intel core 2 duo
E7300.....PLZ HELP:confused:
 
What kind of heatsink are using? Also, are there any other programs being run on your pc? Sometimes an overload of background programs will cause a cpu to rise in temperature and then shut down.

Just to throw the idea out there, do you have the heatsink positioned correctly and the fan cable plugged into the right connector? Just throwing it out there to make sure.
 
What temps did you get before downloading something? You just installed that graphics card and now the temps are high? Did you reformat before installing it?
