i have an AMD Athlon 64X2 6000+ cpu and using pc prob my cpu usally runs at about 47 to 50 degreas (using pc prob) and i was wondering if thats to hot...?
if you're on a stock cooler that's not bad, i'm assuming you've got some stuff running while probing, if it's idle you've got a problem, but i believe max operating temp is like 70c, then it'll shut down the comp to cool off
I'm guessing you mean Fahrenheit because 110-120 Celsius (which is what most people use in computerland) is going to fry something.
To the OP, 50C is good if that's your temp under load. If it's idle, then that's kind of warm. I'd shoot for something in the low 40s for idle (or lower), and mid-50s during stress testing. You don't really want to go past 60 on that chip. Try monitoring temps when using something like Orthos or OCCT. If it creeps past 60, you should probably look into better cooling and/or make sure your case has good air flow.
