Cpu Too Hot For No Reason

i made some small ocing some weeks ago .. ton smth big.. andthe temps and stuff used to be ok .. ( I HAVE PUTTED TO NORMAL SPEEDS NOW THE DEAFULTS) but today it start overheating fps drop in game ... internet gets slower .. i even turn the cpu fan at top and still cant play a game.. now without doing nothing on pc speedfan read the temps at 39-40 :(
y is that ?
have i damaged smth ?
is it maybe coz i have many stuff on my 300wattz psu ? i have 4 more fans 2 hd's i dvdwriter .... OMFG AM DOOMED HELP PLZ
 
well i know my P4 ran around 50-60C, so that doesnt seem too hot... but are you sure that it got slower right after doing the oc'in and not because of something else? Try resetting the CMOS jumper and that might help.
 
since my fps start droping in game... and the game exits...
and i guess speedfan is reading wrong..when irestart and check the temp in bios is 51-52... once it was 81 c :D:D 181F ffs smth is wrong
 
its kinda funny how your thread is like "OMG I"M DOOMED" and your avatar is a smilely face, lol.

turn your computer on and leave it on the bios for about 15 minutes and see the readings.

Maybe try reapplying some thermal paste?
 
i tried the putting the grase again... of course am not an expered of doing that... maybe am putting too much :s i dont know
